On a hot day all I want to do it throw on a dress. I added a pop of color with the neon green belt and continued the blue with the shoes.
This outfit started with the Gap shorts. I immediately know I wanted to mix prints so I chose this striped Christian Dior cardigan (found at the thrift!). I added this Old Navy green tee because I felt as if it complemented the blue. I wanted to keep the shoes neutral so the brogues were perfect!
I wanted to make these floral pants casual so I threw on a tank, vest, and sandals.
New hi-low dress! I’m in love with this dress because of the print. I paired the dress with bold colored earring and shoes.
Bright and simple. I’m not usually a hoodie girl but I will buy one that interest me. I love the color of this H&M hoodie and I thought it would go great with these bright Old Navy shorts. To dress the outfit up a bit, I threw on some detailed sandals.
Bold from head to toe! By choosing classic items (button-up and jeans) in bold prints and colors I was able to wear these pieces without worrying if it would be too much.
VEGAS 2012 BABBBBYYYY!!!! Here’s my outfits from my Vegas trip!
New video up! It features two pieces from H&M that I style three different ways.
Another day another pair of thrift colored jeans I made into short. This outfit started with the navy and white stripe tee and the pale yellow shorts. Once I added the jean jacket, I felt like the outfit needed brogues so I chose my grey and white ones because they were neutral and didn’t distract the outfit. The scarf was the last touch. I felt like this bold scarf fit perfectly because the other colors in the outfit were subtle which meant the scarf colors wouldn’t clash. I consider this outfit casual with a little kick!
I love denim on denim! I added this sherbet, peter pan collar shirt for a pop and kept the blue going with my shoes so the shirt would be the only pop.
Taking bold colors and complimenting them with neutrals is a big trend this season.
I went to H&M last week and fell in love with this lace top (only $9!) and lace skirt (only $14!). I wanted to keep the color scheme of this outfit bright and I wanted to add another print so this sheer, striped cardigan was the perfect match. Although I mixed prints, it flowed because of the color scheme.
A bold, bright color can always bring a simple outfit to life!
